A paddle is an investment. Treat it like one.
Your PickleTimes paddle is built to last, but how you care for it between sessions has a real impact on how long the surface texture stays sharp and how consistent the feel stays over time.
After every session
Wipe the paddle face with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Sweat, ball fuzz, and court dust accumulate on the surface and can dull the texture over time. A quick wipe after play keeps the carbon fiber clean and responsive.
Storage
Always store your paddle in a cover or bag when not in use. Protect the face, the edge guard, and the grip from unnecessary contact. Avoid leaving your paddle in a hot car. Prolonged heat exposure can affect the core and the surface.
Grip tape
Replace your grip tape when it starts to feel worn, slick, or compressed. A fresh grip is one of the easiest performance upgrades you can make. Most players replace grip tape every one to three months depending on how often they play.
What to avoid
Don't submerge your paddle in water or expose it to heavy moisture. Don't use abrasive cleaners on the face. And don't use your paddle as a ball launcher by smacking it on the ground. Edge guard damage is usually not covered under warranty.
Take care of your paddle. It'll take care of your game.
