Choosing a pickleball paddle used to mean picking a shape off a shelf and hoping for the best. At PickleTimes, we built three distinct playing profiles so you can match your paddle to how you actually play.

Balance: the all-court player

Balance is our standard shape. If you play from everywhere on the court, comfortable at the net, capable from the baseline, and looking for a paddle that doesn't limit your game, Balance is where you start. Generous sweet spot. Consistent feel. The shape that never gets in your way.

Strike: the offensive player

Strike is our elongated profile. Extended reach, added leverage, and a hitting area that rewards technical players who want more from every swing. If you play with two-handed backhands, love ripping drives, or come from a tennis background, Strike was built for your game.

Guard: the control player

Guard is our widebody profile. Maximum surface area, precise touch, and a shape designed for players who win points through placement rather than power. If you're a kitchen player, a dink specialist, or someone who holds the point on your own terms, Guard is your profile.

Not sure?

Start with Balance. It's the most versatile shape in the lineup and the easiest to build confidence with. You can always move to Strike or Guard once you know where your game lives.
